At Vermont Handcrafted, we ship carefully curated home décor, artisan-made goods, and specialty furnishings. Many of our pieces are handcrafted, fragile, oversized, or shipped directly from trusted artisan partners.
Because these items require careful packaging, protective materials, and specialized shipping networks, our shipping rates may be higher than large mass-market retailers. Our priority is ensuring that your items arrive safely and in excellent condition.
Processing Times
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Estimated processing times:

Standard décor items: 2–4 business days

Fragile items (glass, pottery, ceramic décor): 3–5 business days

Oversized décor: 5–7 business days

Furniture and large pieces: 7–14 business days
During peak seasons, holidays, or artisan restocks, processing times may extend slightly.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on item size, weight, packaging requirements, and destination.
Because many Vermont Handcrafted items ship directly from specialty vendors and artisan partners, most orders begin at approximately $35 for shipping. This ensures proper protective packaging and safe transit for fragile or handcrafted goods.

Standard Vendor Shipping
Most décor and general merchandise items
Typical cost: starting around $35
Fragile Item Shipping
Glass, ceramic, pottery, and delicate décor requiring specialized packing
Typical cost: $35–$55
Medium / Heavy Décor Shipping
Substantial tabletop décor, pedestals, racks, and heavier accent pieces
Typical cost: $45–$75
Oversized Item Shipping
Large vases, tall faux trees, oversized wall décor, and large seasonal pieces
Typical cost: $60–$125
Freight Shipping (Furniture)
Large furniture and cabinetry pieces shipped via freight carriers
Typical cost: $150–$299+
White-glove delivery may be available for select furniture items.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the United States only.
If you are located outside the U.S., please contact us before placing an order to discuss potential options.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.
Delivery Issues
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, Vermont Handcrafted cannot be responsible for delays caused by:

lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
If a shipment is delayed or missing, we are happy to assist you in working with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Once reviewed, we will arrange a replacement or refund when appropriate.
Local Pickup or Delivery
Customers located near our Vermont area may have access to local pickup or local delivery for select items. If available, these options will appear during checkout.
Preorders & Backorders
Some items are produced in small artisan batches and may require additional time before shipping. Estimated ship dates will be listed on the product page when applicable.
Preorders ship as soon as inventory becomes available.
Freight Delivery (Furniture)
Large furniture and heavy items ship via freight carriers and require a scheduled delivery appointment.
Freight deliveries typically:

Please inspect freight shipments carefully at delivery and report any damage within 48 hours.
